Lucky Karim

Lucky Karim and is a Rohingya human rights activist & humanitarian worker from Burma (Myanmar). She was forced to flee her home in August 2017 from an armed conflict genocide against humanity and against Rohingya. Lucky has worked for a number of international humanitarian organizations in Cox’s Bazar camp for refugees on health, protection, education and advocacy campaigns. And she went to the Asian University for Women in Chittagong for a bachelor's degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. Lucky lived for more than six years in the refugee camps in Bangladesh and last year she was fortunate to escape the camps and resettle in the United States of America. She is continuing her higher education at the University of Chicago on political science and is a part of the diaspora Rohingya rights advocacy movement.
